Meet Blue

Meet handsome Blue! Blue is not just looks, but the total package. He lived in a family with children, and his owner had to leave the state, leaving poor Blue stranded. They had such nice things to say about him. The shelter environment is not great for Blue because all he knew was a loving family and he is a higher energy pup. Being just one year old he has a ton of energy to burn, so he would have to be placed in an active home. He would thrive with another dog to play with, or with a family that enjoys hikes and going out on walks! Because of his size and play level, we think he would be best with children a bit older, although he did live with a younger child and was respectful of him. He knows basic commands and has been getting training at the shelter, which he is responding well to and enjoying. He is really eager to learn and is very smart!
