Blue Siberian Husky & German Shepherd Dog Mix Santa Ana, CA

Blue is eight months old and weighs 50 pounds. We estimate her to be around 60 pounds fully grown. She is playful, active, energetic, sociable and friendly with everyone she meets. Blue is SUCH a happy dog! She absolutely ADORES people and is quite loyal. She just wants to spend every moment as close to her humans as possible and often likes standing under her people (shown in one of her photos). Despite her size, she thinks she's a lapdog. If you're looking for a very cuddly larger breed companion, Blue's your girl! She gets along fantastically with dogs too, big and small. She is easily motivated with food, though she has no problem sharing with her canine companions. She knows how to use a doggie door and is doing well on her leash-training and crate-training. As a puppy, she will require time, effort and patience from her adopter to complete her training. Blue’s adoption fee is $495 which covers the cost of her spay, all core vaccines (Rabies and Distemper/Parvo), deworming, microchip and microchip registration. She was surrendered by her owner who wasn’t able to care for her, she was left outside 24/7 and just before they were going to take her to the pound (when she had no vaccines), a friend of a family member reached out to social media to find a rescue to take her in and they were connected with us.

We do not do out-of-state adoptions on highly adoptable dogs; we would only consider out-of-state adoptions for dogs that prove hard-to-place locally. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and submit it no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. and they range from $225-$495.
