Meet Blue
Meet Blue, a one-year old cuddle monster seeking a family to snuggle for life.
Born pure-bred and all Weimaraner, Blue keeps her foster family laughing with her puppy antics. She spends her days exploring the joys of being canine. She is the master of bed hogging, couch napping, and toy chewing. She assists her foster family on their weight loss journey by clearing and washing dishes, even when her people are not done eating.
Blue loves to learn new tricks and quickly mastered sit and down. She takes her job to protect and serve her family with the utmost seriousness. Blue never lets a doorbell ring without intervention or lets neighbors walk by without reminding them she lives here and isn’t that wonderful! Blue also protects her foster momma’s flower gardens by restricting bunnies and squirrels to their designated trees and hidey holes.
Above all Blue adores her humans. She loves deeply, snores loudly, and washes her foster family faces with kisses. Her affection for her people is as intense as her affection for pizza. Her ideal family will have some experience with Weimaraners or other high energy hunting breeds. She will need continued training to help her be the best doggo she can be.
Blue’s exuberance for life can be a bit overwhelming, so small children are not a good fit for her. Cats are a-okay, so long as they are willing to be regularly sniffed and licked and are up for a game of chase from time to time. Doggie friends at a new home are also ok so long as they are prepared to share the couch.
Blue is a goofy, 60-pound puppy w/ a lot of love to give! Are you ready to meet this energetic sweetheart?!
Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
