Blu Mountain Cur Gibsonton , FL

Blu was an owner surrender. He is 11 months at the time of this posting, and around 60 lbs (but may grow to be 65/70lbs). He was going to be euthanized by the shelter at 11 months old simply due to him and his brother not being properly trained and exercised. He is UTD on all his shots, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. Blu does not do well with dogs, but he did play with the owner's neighbor's small chihuahua. He cannot be around cats or other small animals. His high energy nature makes it difficult for him to be around small children, so we are recommending teenagers and older in the home. He is leash trained and does not pull unless he sees a person or dog, but a gentle leader eliminates that problem completely. He is crate trained and enjoys his crate. He loves being the center of attention and enjoys car rides. He requires an experienced adopter who can work with him on training and confidence building.

Adopter Requirements:
- Be willing to drive to Tampa to meet him
- Have a 6ft high or taller fenced in yard
- No other animals in the home
- Experienced with dogs and can work with him on training and confidence building
- No children under 13 years old
- Have an active lifestyle
