Blessing's Story

Meet **Blessing** — the brindled beauty whose name says it all.

At just 9 months old and about 50 pounds, Blessing is the kind of dog who brings sunshine into every room she enters. Her sleek greyhound mix frame is kissed with soft cream markings, and her expressive face makes it feel like she’s truly listening when you talk to her. She’s a joyful, people-loving puppy who believes every stranger is a friend she *just* hasn’t met yet.

Blessing is doing wonderfully with her house manners and thrives with gentle structure and clear boundaries. She’s eager to please, quick to learn, and so motivated by the promise of a little praise (and maybe a shared snack). Around other dogs, she’s all play bows and wiggles — a social butterfly who delights in having a buddy.

Back at home, she has mastered the **“croissant cuddle”**—curling neatly into your side on the couch with her long legs tucked just so, eyes half-closed in perfect contentment. But don’t let that cozy snuggle fool you: this girl is *adventure-ready*. She loves car rides with the windows cracked, exploring new places, and trotting confidently down hiking trails with all the enthusiasm of a dog who knows life is meant to be lived fully.

Blessing is the perfect match for an active family—kids to romp with in the yard, weekend excursions, and plenty of opportunities to both move and relax together. She’ll gladly share her toys, her joy, and her whole heart with whoever chooses her.

If you’ve been dreaming of a dog who’s affectionate, athletic, playful, snuggly, and ready for anything… Blessing is waiting to make your home feel a little fuller, and your days a lot brighter.

---
To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
