Hi! I'm Blade! I'm an approximately 2 year old, male, Pit mix who weighs around 75 lbs. I was left at the shelter by my owner and never reclaimed. I am very sweet with people and enjoy playing and running! I don't quite understand the concept of tennis balls but I think it's something I'd like to learn about. I am house trained and crate trained and walk great on a leash. I recently discovered the joys of water and love biting at a stream from the hose! I am a total softy and am so sweet your teeth will hurt. I love cuddles and love to be brushed. I get along with large dogs and small dogs, both male and female. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I am interested in cats but have not formally been introduced to one. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative. Meet and greets will be scheduled by approved application ONLY. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
