Hi, my name is Bitari. I am a 1 year old Pekinese mix. I had a bad life until I came into foster care. Foster care is where I found I can trust and like people. The dogs in the foster home taught me that. I love to play with the dogs in foster care. Cats and kittens are fine with me. You can’t pet me on my head until I trust you. Under the neck is best after I check you out. My foster mom has some strict requirements for my new family. She will make the decision as to who will be my new furever family. My foster mom says I need a home that has a stable dog to play with. This is a dog that is playful, very good with meeting people, and shows a calm stability. I need a fenced in yard or someplace fenced in where I can show off my beauty when I run. My parents need to be the head of the pack. These are just some of my foster mom’s requirements for my new family. I now love to ride in a car and walk on a leash. I am housebroke and run 24/7 with the dogs in my foster home. I am a drop dead gorgeous boy, at least that is what my foster mom tells me all the time. I am a talker. My foster mom has an awesome video of me talking to her while I was waiting for her to crawl into bed. I bark when someone comes to the door because that is what the dogs in the foster home do. I met my foster mom’s 13 year old grand daughter. The grand daughter was nice because she let me meet her on my own terms.
I am micro-chipped, wormed, neutered, and have flea control on. I am current on all vaccines. I take heartworm preventative and am heartworm negative. If you are interested in making me your new forever family member contact the South Wood County Humane Society to start the adoption process. No one will meet me unless they have an approved application and talk to my foster mom by phone first. Adoption fee $200.
