Meet Biscuit and Gravy
What have the dogs we rescued off of a roof dogs been up to?
Well- they've been pretty scared. But now, both Gravy and Biscuit are warming up.
We know you all are going to scream up about keeping them together. Because they truly are bonded as can be.
The problems are many:
*They are pitbulls, and our followers share WAY MORE when there is blood and gore, or fancy breeds, than when we just post. Homeless pitbulls.
*Biscuit and Gravy were starved, and are therefore food guarding each other. They need to be fed separate, but can take treats in each other's presence.
*Biscuit is likely to guard the home for the both of them. Guarding develops over time, and inexperienced fosters/adopters often don't notice the signs until it has gotten dangerous. Simple modifications like not allowing Biscuit access to the front door when you're not home can be all it takes.
If you really care, please go ahead and share. Both dogs take treats very gently but are only an option for kid-free, calm households.
ONE ADOPTION FEE OF $275 COVERS BOTH DOGS! Vet care, vaccines, dewormer, microchips, spay and neuter at our vet is included. They are available for foster-to-adopt as well. Apply through our website: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
