Biscuit Beagle & Rat Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Biscuit! He is an approximately 6-month-old tan and white Beagle / rat terrier mix (born around June of 2021). He came to us from a local animal shelter after being hit by a car. He had a broken jaw and badly injured rear leg. His jaw was wired and his rear leg had to be amputated. This little guy was in a lot of pain the first few days after surgery, but he toughed it out and finally came through stronger than ever.

Biscuit is a happy and healthy guy who does not have any special needs.

The better he felt, the more playful he became, and his body started catching up with itself and filling out. Now he plays, plays, plays with several of the other dogs, large and small. They are so much fun and gratifying to watch, as all were victims of trauma and surgery recovery.

Biscuit is a friendly little guy (he will probably never get much bigger than his current 15 pounds) and has a very loving personality. His head in your lap is his favorite nap position,. He is kennel trained for night time, meal time, and naps. House training is a work in progress but 85% there if his foster family keeps to a good schedule, he does great.
