Oh hello there! My name is Birdy. I came into care when I got sick with parvovirus. I'm feeling all better now, though, and won't have any long term effects from being sick when I was a pup! Now I'm ready to find a furever family to shower with love, could that be you?

My foster mom says that I am the first one to snuggle up to my humans. I like to be your shadow so that I can soak in any pets and cuddles I can get. I pretty much love any and all attention I can get from you! I've been getting along well with the kitties I've met and the children, too. I also get along pretty well with the two other dogs in my home. I tend to be a bit stressed and nervous with new dogs, so I have to go slow when meeting them. I've been working on this but will need a new family who is willing to continue helping me learn that new dogs are friends.

I'm completely kennel trained and housebroken! I also walk quite well on a leash but when I see other dogs I need my handler's help remembering to stay calm. I'm a smart girl and love learning new things. I would love a family who would teach me lots of commands and tricks! Training will also help us bond and deepen our connection.
