Billy Boxer Mix Rochester, NY

REQUIREMENTS: live in the Rochester NY area (within 1/2 drive) and have a physically fenced in yard for pup to safely run and play in.

Billy we are told is a Boxer mix (no idea what is in the mix) but we expect him to be 40 to 50 lbs as an adult. He was born on 10/14/20. Billy is a sweet boy who loves to play and cuddle. He is very attached to his people and follows them everywhere. Billy is picking up pottie training well, and knows his commands, but as a young pup, when he is playing he sometimes forgets. He is learning his basic commands but will need further training. He is treat driven to please. Billy gets along with other dogs, but sometimes likes to be the center of attention. We are not sure how he is with cats or young children as he has not been exposed to them.
He will be going to his adoptive home under a foster to adopt contract until his neuter is complete. You would be required to get him into our vet clinic once January 14th for 7:30 am in Rochester and then pick up from rescue to finalize adoption at that time. For this reason we will not adopt to anyone outside our immediate adoption area. All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
