We are looking for a special owner for BILLY Beagle. He has been with Last Hope since the summer, and is not happy living in a kennel setting.<br/> Handsome BILLY is a year old, and originally came to Last Hope as an unclaimed stray at Babylon Shelter.<br/> BILLY does quite well at off-site events ...partly because he is out of the kennel & exercising- and partly because he is not stressed in that setting.<br/> BILLY is quite smart, but willful, and knows how to get what he wants, at times in an assertive way.<br/> He requires lots of exercise to tire him out. A home setting, where he can run around a yard, may lessen his necessary amount of activity.<br/> BILLY can be possessive of items, and for the.owner's sake, and for the safety of others, BILLY's owner should pro-active about not putting him in such a situation.<br/> BILLY has the potential to make lots of progress with obedience training.<br/> He likes other dogs & kids, but it is best that BILLY be an only dog in a home, and not with kids.<br/> BILLY is a "good dog work in progress"...and with the right person the good dog will <br/>materialize.<br/>If you are interested in learning more about him, please send us an email to adoptions@lasthopeanimalrescue.org or fill out an application from our website.
