Billy's Story

Billy the Bully is the sweetest guy ever! He is a purebred English Bull Terrier and such a great dog. He found himself at a high kill shelter in Houston and he still can't figure out why. Billy came to Colorado to look for his forever person. He is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained and LOVES other dogs. Billy is 50lbs and a very strong adolescent so someone that can handle his size would be best. Billy would love to have a playmate but it's not absolutely necessary as long as he has someone that will walk him and play with him. Although he's a 'bully' breed he is pretty submissive to other dogs and doesn't typically react even when provoked. Colorado Animal Care Foundation's Adoption Policy

Individuals interested in adopting one of our dogs must complete the Adoption Application on our website. If you meet our requirements and appear to be a good match for one of our dogs, we may schedule a home visit and/or interview with one of our volunteers. Only then will you be able to meet a prospective placement. Be advised, we will not place a dog in an environment which we feel will not be a permanent placement, please respect our decisions in this matter, that does not mean that you would not be a good match for another dog.
