Billa's Story

Billa is Looking for His Leader, His Alpha

We went to great lengths to rescue Billa from a crowded NYC shelter where he was surrendered by his family and scheduled to be euthanized for space. At just 4 years old, Billa had already endured a life of neglect—living mostly outdoors with little love or care.

Billa recently completed an intensive 4-week board and train program. He knows all his commands and is well-trained. But like any smart dog, he thrives with structure. He needs someone who will keep reinforcing his training, guide him with calm confidence, and help him feel secure. Billa needs a leader—someone he can trust, respect, and follow.

He’s affectionate, loyal, talkative, and truly just wants to be close to his person. He leans in for pets, adores attention, and once he bonds, he’ll be your shadow.

Why Billa is Special:
- Professionally trained
- Walks perfect on a leash
- Non-reactive and calm
- Loves long walks & hikes
- Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
-80 lbs of goofy giant
-Stunning in person — photos don’t do him justice
-Full of personality once he’s comfortable

That said, Billa is sensitive—as many malamutes are.
