Big Boy Poodle & Miniature Schnauzer Mix Rochester, NY

"BIG BOY" is ironically named one of a litter of super adorable 5 month old Schnoodles (Schnauzer poodle mixes) - except it seems HE may have possibly had a different father than all the rest? His mom is definitely a poodle and his father was thought to be the in-home schnauzer, but it's really tough to say by appearance for him! He certainly looks very different than the rest of the litter who were definitely schnoodle appearing! The owner was overwhelmed and did not expect this litter of 6, and we are helping to get the remaining adults in their care spayed and neutered, as well. In the meantime, we are offering these cuties up for adoption! They are adjusting nicely in their foster's home and are actively seeking out attention and pets. They'll all be spayed/neutered and microchipped by the rescue after 6 months of age. Big Boy should be in the 25 lb or less range as an adult - perfect size! They lived in a home with a fenced in yard and so have not been leash trained, but should adapt fairly quickly.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip at ~6 months at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We are still doing application processing virtually since COVID-19 and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there are NO DOGS KEPT AT THE ADOPTION CENTER.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
