Meet BGR Bonecrusher
Meet Bones, a 3 1/2 year old red greyhound. His racing name is Bonecrusher - which he is definitely not!! He is a quiet, mellow, gentle giant!
Bones is well trained in his crate and sleeps through the night. He loves his food - including yours if you give him chance, although he is learning the kitchen rules in his foster home.
He generally walks well on the leash, unless squirrels, chipmunks or any other small moving object is in sight - then hold on tight!!
Bones is still learning about things in his foster house, including how to do stairs, but has no problem on the outdoor steps.
He gets along very well with his foster 7 year old greyhound foster sister. Bones is starting to be interested in squeaky or pull toys.
Bones is very new to retirement and we are gradually finding out more about his personality. Please check back for more information.
This dog is being fostered in the Des Moines Area. We do not ship dogs. Adopters must be committed to meeting the dog in the area it is being fostered.
If you are interested in adopting or meeting this dog or any other of HGA's dogs, please fill out an online application found here: https://www.heartlandgreyhoundadoption.org/adoption/application/

Each dog also comes with a special sighthound collar and leash set and muzzle. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee that is applied to an approved adoption.
