Betty Boop American Staffordshire Terrier Houston, TX

Hi, my name is Betty Boop, interesting name for a pretty girl like me. I’ve had kind of a rough start to life because I was dumped in the neighborhood where the rescue that has me now is located. I sat outside all night long waiting for my people to come back for me, but they never did. The nice people at the rescue didn’t want me to get hurt on the street, so they brought me inside so they could take care of me and find me my forever home. I am incredibly loyal, and I am looking for a new home where people will love me, and not break my heart and leave me on the street in the middle of the night.

I’ve been told that I am sweet, happy, and resilient, and everyone at the rescue tells me that I am deserving of love. I need affirmation that you are not going to leave me so I need someone touching me or holding my paw because I have trust issues, and I am scared that I will be left again. They call me a little Velcro dog at the rescue!

I am roughly 1 year old and weigh about35 lbs., I am a petite staffy mix.
