Meet Betty

IN A NEW FOSTER HOME: Please welcome new BBBR Foster Parents Jason and Michelle. They have decided to foster Betty so she has re-located to her new foster home. Thanks to BBBR Foster Parent Alicia for fostering her on a temporary basis to give her a break from boarding and completing the home inspection. Alicia will continue to foster different dogs on a temporary basis. Thanks to Jessica the Voice Goddess and BBBR TV star for taking Betty to tv channel 12. Jason and Michelle saw her on tv and were smitten. Her temporary foster mom, Alicia reports: I truly cannot understand how she is not adopted; this dog is a dream. Anyone who spends time with her would fall in love. She is sweet as is possible, very intelligent, very resilient and a quick learner. The only thing that she needs to work on is her leash manners as she pulls WHEN she sees something (any small animal: bird, squirrel, cat, small dog, etc). However, working with her, she is already making progress ( a strong tug and NO, she understands the word no). She comes to my call around the house, she is potty trained, and knows sit, stay and come. The best thing about Betty is that she is flexible, she just wants to be wherever you are in the house and lay at your feet. She does follow room to room if you are walking around but I think this would improve with time. (Although this does not bother me) She lets you know she needs to potty by going to a door or standing by her leash. However, I was careful to take her out several times throughout the day. We also went on a nice long walk daily (one hour); she loves her walks. Betty is very calm (and very quiet) and FULL of love; she would make an excellent companion for a single person, young couple or a small family. Betty is dog selective and does not get along with all dogs. She is best suited in a home as an only pet. She is not crazy about loud noises so a big family might be overwhelming to her. I do think she would be good with children. She likes her face and ears rubbed. She is a real find!!! If you are interested in adopting Betty call her foster parents at 208-830-0901 or 208-571-9657.
