Meet Betsy
The very first step to adopt me is filling out an adoption application at www.tapsusa.org. Oh, and super important too is that I need to stay in a home within 25 driving miles of zip code 37737.
I am so soft and sweet. I am also very lab – even in my older years, I love swimming and fetch! People are my favorite! There are just not enough faces to lick! I would really like a home where there aren't little children because I am still very active. And dogs, I can take or leave, so no dogs and my own favorite humans would be a definite perk for me!
I am also a great alerter - letting you know when someone comes to the door.
After your application is received, it’s reviewed and if we may be a match, you’ll be invited to come meet me!
All scholarship pets are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their new home because that’s the responsible way to keep us all safe.
I do have an adoption fee. While we receive free room and board at Friendsville Animal Center, the adoption fees help to provide food and any medical care we may need during our stay (and pays it forward to other scholarship pets that find their way here).
