MY STORY
Oh Man, where do I even start. So much has happened so fast. I went from having a home to being in the shelter. I went from being a carefree pup to a mom. Things went crazy so fast, but maybe I should start from the beginning. I was surrendered to the shelter, and either the owner didn't know or didn't want to reveal that I was pregnant. Well, a few short days later I had six puppies. Now with me being a new mom, having six newborn puppies, and being in the shelter...things did not go well. I ended up losing most of my puppies due to a nasty URI that they caught at the shelter. I was lucky though that a rescue came for me and my remaining pups. I am happy to say that my boys, Chief Rainwater&Rip both made it and have been happily adopted! My crazy journey didn't quite stop yet though. Turns out I also came out positive for heart-worms. So, now that my pups have been adopted I am undergoing treatment. Through all of this though, I have been the happiest and sweetest girl around! Now, I am ready to start searching for my forever home!
ABOUT ME
My name is Beth and I am a 1.5 year old female Labrador Retriever/Husky mix....well I guess that is what we are thinking. We don't really know for sure. I currently weigh about 61lbs, and am one of the best girls around! Here is what my foster says about me
"Bethie has the sweetest personality. She is gentle and calm around people old and young. She listens well and has excellent manners. She isn't demanding but will come up to you and give you the her version of puppy dog eyes and you cannot help but give her pets. Everyone she meets comments on her sweetness."
I do well when meeting new people, I give lots of tail wags but am also calm. I do great on car rides, and walk like a dream with a harness on. I think I would do great being out and about with my new family. I have the perfect temperament as I am not super hyper, but not shy either. I am calm and sweet! I have a pretty laid back personality, but am playful with other dogs. I have great house manners and can be trusted with free roam of the house. So far, I am not a big fan of toys but will sometimes grab a bone. I am not a fan of playing in the water, and don't play fetch. When no one is home I am given free roam of the house. At night, I enjoy sleeping on the couch. I am potty trained, and have not needed to be kenneled. I am not a big barker, but will bark at new things. I am good with other dogs and match their energy level. I also do good with cats. I have been around kids of all ages and do great with them!
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW HOME
Honestly, I would do great in any home. I am calm and playful whichever the environment calls for. I am so sweet. I loves playing with the dogs in my foster home and know which one to leave alone which is what he prefers. I am graceful and love to gently "boop" you with my nose rather than give kisses. I would prefer a home that doesn't kennel me though, since I don't need one.

My adoption fee is $225 and that will include my vaccinations, spay, and microchip. It will also include my heart-worm treatment. I will also be current on my heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
