Meet Bessie

Not to brag, but I won Bestest Head Tilt in the World contest. Okay, it wasn’t in the world, but it was here at DogHouse ArtHouse.

I also won best smile, blackest coat and best bounce back from mange ever, which really isn’t something to brag about. Is it?

I was found on a desolate road near a ranch out in Sarco, Texas. Sarco is a small town between Goliad and Refugio, Texas. When found, I was missing most of my hair, but I my tail was still waggy and my pearly whites were still smiling. Now my outsides finally match my insides, metafurically speaking of course. I am happy and healthy now.

Foster Mom says I am a glass half full type of gal, or I guess food bowl half full in a dog’s case. The moment I got to DogHouse ArtHouse I forgot all about my terrible circumstances and have the brightest dispawsition.

I get along with other dogs, I am potty and crate trained. I am very photogenic and always ready to do one of those full squad photo shoots that reminds people of an album cover. I am the star and these are my back up singers.

If you give me a home, I will be the happiest girl in the world, I already kinda am but I would be it even more.

Bessie- spayed female, approx 5 years old, large, black, Labrador Retriever mix, good with dogs, not cat tested, great with people, potty/crate trained, came from a very hard knock life but happy and healthy now
