Meet Bess, a beautiful one-year-old, 45 lb. black mouth cur mix with the cutest little smile and sweetest personality. She came to Connecticut all the way from Florida after being found as a stray. Now, she is in a loving foster home in search of her happily furever after.

Bess is curious, confident, incredibly playful, and friendly with everyone she meets, including dogs and children. After being in the shelter for over a month, she adjusted quickly to home life and her foster parents. She loves being next to her people and will follow you wherever you go. Bess loves chews, soft toys, bones, treats, and anything that squeaks or crinkles. She is the queen of zoomies, rides great in the car, and loves to make nests and snuggle into her blanket.

She's a very quick and motivated learner - she's house/crate trained, knows "sit," and is currently learning "down" and "heel." Bess can get whiny when her people leave so adopters not gone long hours are preferred. A fenced yard is also required. She will make a wonderful addition to any home!
