Meet Bert
Are you looking for a pup that loves the water and is great with other dogs, cats, and kids? Then Bert is your boy!!!
Bert is a Black Lab / Border Collie mix breed, a 6.5-month-old pup, that will be approximately 55 lbs. when fully grown.
Bert is house-broken and good with other dogs, cats, and humans!
Bert has grown so much since we first took him in to our rescue. He has spent time in foster care, with other resident dogs & cats. Bert LOVES the water and currently enjoys sitting on the steps of his fosters pool or playing in a baby pool.
We are looking for a family to either "Adopt", “Foster “ or “Foster-To-Adopt” Bert.
Bert is healthy, heartworm-negative, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines!
He is:
-crate-trained
-needs patience when getting in & out of a car
-still learning, but doing well with leash-walking
-needs slow introductions when meeting new people and other pets
But...once Bert trusts you, he is the sweetest boy.
Bert would do best in a home with a confident resident dog and a fenced-in backyard.
If you are interested in Adopting or Fostering or "Fostering to Adopt" Bert, please email: adopt@doggonehome.org
Or find our adoption application at: https://www.doggonehome.org/adopt
Adoption Fee: $400.00
Fostering - no fee, our rescue will set you up with everything you need (food, crate, etc.). Fostering would be for approx 2 - 3 weeks.
