Meet Bernie
Bernie is an interesting little terrier mix, weighing in at just under 22 pounds. We believe him to be between 10 and 12 years old but has the energy of a much younger guy. He is heartworm positive and will need 3-4 months of very low activity. He has some skin issues from the terrible case of fleas that had been left untreated. The fleas are all gone, but he is still recovering some of the hair loss. He will be happiest in a home with a playmate after his treatment is completed. He's looking for a temporary or forever home. (Utah Friends of Basset Hounds will cover the expenses of his treatments.)
