Bernie Corgi Bakersfield, CA

Bernie is an adorable 9 month old, 22lb Welsh Pembroke Corgi who was rescued from the county shelter out in the high desert. We believe that his owners tossed him out of the car on a road due to some minor injuries he had when he first came in. He's not a huge fan of car rides either, so that gave us the impression that someone traumatized him greatly. He's very sweet and while a little tentative at first with being picked up (he squats down) he's very lovable and sweet. With a good bonding period and lots of love, he will easily trust his forever person. He would be best walked with a harness, as he will alligator roll a collar walking.. we are working with him on this currently :) Bernie is up to date on shots, neutered, dewormed and micro-chipped. Adoption fee $400.

Please fill out an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. The rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
