I am a sweet, confident 1 year old happy boy! I love people and enjoy snuggling on the couch. My hobbies include chewing on an antler, playing with toys, hanging with my besties (that could be you or another dog), sniffing flowers and taking walks. I am easy on the leash and house trained. I love playing in the yard with other dogs but can sometimes be exuberant for some so I am best with dogs my size or larger. I'm not the biggest fan of feline friends, so a cat-free home would be the ideal match.

I am looking for a family or someone that can take me for walks, hikes or runs and who needs a new BFF. I have a lot of enthusiasm and would do best with older kids. My foster mom thinks I would like water as I like to put my whole face in the garden hose sprayer

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
