Meet Berkeley

"With the right person, you don't have to work so hard to be happy. It just happens!" I really hope you are my right person because I want happiness to happen forever! I am Berkeley, a year old, 13lb., male, terrier/dachshund mix. I am a sweet, laid back fella who enjoys a good cuddle. I am super close to mastering the house training thing, but I do have crate training under my belt already. I also know some basic commands. I am a good with other dogs, and cats. Kids are scary so please none of those in my forever home! I'm not too shabby on leash, but I have a nose that does the walking, so I need that leash or a fenced yard to be safe. I get really excited when I meet new people so apartment living isn't a great fit for me. I would also be happy hitting the road by your side in a big rig. I am happiest when I'm all snuggled up in your lap or beside you on the couch. I may be laid back but I'm also pretty fun and love a good game of fetch and my dino! If you are ready for happiness to happen forever, fill out my application!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
