Bently's Story

Meet Bently ! He is a 4 year old dog who weighs 58 pounds.

This energetic, social, and handsome boy is looking for an active forever home that can keep up with his bright personality and grooming needs. He is a true people-lover who has done wonderfully with handling. He is a high-energy pup who gets incredibly excited during playtime. However, once he gets those zoomies out of his system, he settles down beautifully. Because of his exuberant play style, he will thrive with an adopter who can provide plenty of daily physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep his sharp mind engaged.

He is a resilient boy who handles new things well. He showed a tiny bit of caution on the smooth concrete floors indoors before strutting his stuff confidently once he hit the grass outside. He's also a big fan of mealtime; so much so that he eats a bit fast, meaning a slow-feeder bowl will be his best friend. If you are looking for an active, social partner to join you on outdoor adventures (and don't mind a little extra brushing to keep him looking his best), Bently might just be your perfect match!

I lived with dogs in my previous home, and I may do well with a slow introduction.
I don't have a history with cats. I may do well with them with a slow introduction.
I lived with children in my previous home and may do well with your children.
