Meet Bentley Craig
Bentley Craig hails from the sunshine state, but that laid-back California attitude was not his style. He is not big on the peace love hugs and kisses and prefers a more formal living situation. Picture Bentley Craig as an uptight accountant- he likes to take stock of his belongings and is NOT a fan of sharing. All business, Bentley Craig has been divorced several times and is not a family man. He's looking for a strong, independent owner with no small kids and no expectations of ever carrying him around in a purse.
Bentley Craig currently has several applications being processed. Currently, only qualified applicants will be contacted. Bentley Craig has been moved around a bit due to some behavioral issues, so only candidates with behavioral training experience will be considered.
In order to apply for adoption of Bentley-Craig, you must fulfill these requirements:
- Must have experience with Terrier breeds.
- Must have experience with behavior issue & dominant history dogs.
- Must commit to work with a private dog trainer in the home.
Bentley is currently living in foster. Here's what his foster dad has this to say:
For the most part, Bentley is house trained. He's had some accidents but he will bark, howl and paw at you when he needs to go out. He loves his walks and does good in the car. He doesn't bark except when he needs to go out. He doesn't beg for food and hasn't torn up anything in the house. Bentley does not need to be crated, but he is fine in his crate. Essentially, Bentley sleeps, goes for walks, sits in his foster dad's lap and plays with his Kong. He has guarding issues, so no stuffed animals or balls. He does not guard his Kong or other toys that have treats associated with them.
Because of his guarding issues, Bentley needs a home with no children and an experienced owner committed to training and working with him. He originally came to us from California so much of his background is unknown.
