Bentley Shepherd & Hound Mix Minneapolis, MN

Meet Bentley! The first thing you’ll notice about him is he's a gentle big boi! He loves resting his head in your hands or on your shoulder for some amazing pets/cuddles.

In the short time Bentley has been with his foster family he has mastered going potty outside. Sometimes he feels intimidated by entering new rooms but learns quickly that it's safe. He is new to walks and using a leash but he’s getting the hang of it.

In terms of interacting with others; two cats, one dog and a 12 mo. old baby give him two thumbs way up! He is appropriate and respectful around babies, children and other pets.

Bentley feels most safe and secure with the presence of another pupper around - he’s still learning he can trust his human friends and has made huge strides towards feeling 100% comfy. Another dog in the family would be ideal for Bentley to pal around with!

When he’s not in silly, play-mode he is happy to curl up next to you and cuddle. Bentley is a 100% sweetheart and ready to join your family!

Bentley is estimated to be 6 months old and 44 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 100 mile radius of Minneapolis.
