Benny (ADOPTED!) Border Collie & Shepherd Mix Chicago, IL

**BENNY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Ben is a goofy, handsome, friendly, social 8-10 month-old pup looking for a loving family! This sweet boy was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky. His breed is unknown, but it looks like he could have some Lab, Shepherd, Border Collie, and Terrier in his family tree. A true all-American mutt! He weighs about 40 pounds, so a great medium size, not too large, not too small! Benny boy is a happy dog that is very excited about life! He loves making new friends and LOVES other dogs. A total wiggle-butt of a dog, tail in constant motion, with a smile always on his face. He has not had much in the way of training and can still be a bit rambunctious when excited, so homes with older children who will not be knocked over by his exuberant greetings will be the best match for him. Ben's ideal home will be with guardians who can help him work on his manners and some basic obedience with him and guardians who can provide him with lots of exercise and playtime throughout the day. He is crate trained and does well with his housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Ben is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. He is ready and anxious to meet his new family!

• Benny's adoption fee to the rescue is $375. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other animals like Ben from euthanasia.

• All of our dogs are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only after an adoption application has been submitted and approved by the rescue.
