Meet Benny! Benny is an adorable, neutered, 6-year-old male, 18-pound Terrier Mix with and his adoption fee is $500. Benny has a heart murmur that is not currently causing him any medical challenges, but may lead to medical challenges for him later in life.

Benny came to 6dogrees Rescue after being thrown from car in southern California. Upon his arrival to Washington State he was neutered, vaccinated, and is now fostered with several dogs his size. Benny gets along well with other dogs and loves his people. He is very loving, crate trained, enjoys car rides and snuggling on the couch with his humans and foster siblings (dogs).

We are seeking a loving family that is familiar with small dogs, ideally terrier mixes, and can provide him with unconditional love throughout his lifetime. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying.

Benny will require:
- A fully fenced and secure yard.
- Grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep his toenails neat and eyes free of stray hairs (the coat on his body is wash and wear).

Ideally, dogs should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview.

We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval.

The tax deductible adoption fee is not negotiable. The fee is needed in order for us to "save it forward" for the next dog. The fee covers spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, rabies vaccine. We seek the best "fit" home for our dogs.

6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the State of California while pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs.
