Benny Spaniel Mix Schaumburg, IL

Times are tough in Puerto Rico lately. Hurricane Maria destroyed large portions of the island and the island state is still trying to catch up. Cute little Benny was found wandering the island, clearly in need of someone to provide regular food, love, and companionship.

Estimated to be around 7 years old, this 35-pound Spaniel mix has the island vibe down pat; he’s very mellow and just goes with the flow. He’s doing well with housebreaking and will whine by the door to notify you when he needs to go out. He loves being outside and exploring the neighborhood on walks.

Benny is non-reactive with other dogs. Really, this guy just minds his own business. He doesn’t chew inappropriately or need a crate when home alone.

All this boy needs is some decompression time, reliable food, and a regular dose of love. In time, you’ll see this island dog will be your devoted sidekick for life.
