Meet Bennie

Bennie is scheduled to go to his new home Saturday, April 24. If for any reason it doesn't work out, we will be reviewing other applications. When Bennie's adoption is finalized, we will remove this listing.

Bennie is just about 10 months old, and he needs someone with the experience and home setup to make this high energy Aussie a happy boy!

He was surrendered to a shelter because his people weren't prepared for a dog with the intelligence, energy, and drive of an Australian shepherd. If you know the breed, you can imagine what might happen if you leave a puppy alone all day while you work and expect him to be content with just a walk in the evening.

Bennie still belongs to the shelter where he was surrendered, but he's going stir crazy and really needs a foster or adopter so we can rescue him.
