Meet Benji

Benji is a hoot! This playful fella has all the happy antics of a young pup, but the experience to know some basics to being in a home. Benji walks good on leash, has done well with other dogs, and enjoys a good romp in the yard before settling in for the night. Benji is at a great size too, not too big or too small at 40 pounds. His lineage is a mystery, but we're guessing there might be some Retriever in there? Otherwise he's pure American Shelter Dog and 100% good boy. Benji would be a great choice for someone looking for a friend that can still keep up on walks or hikes, but is over the puppy stages of things.

Benji is approximately 5 years old and weighs 40 pounds. He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on all his flea/tick preventatives!
