This is a PLEA For Temporary Foster and Funds!! RTHRS takes on a tremendous amount of medical cases and we have been slammed. Many of you have been following Bejis story. He just can't catch a break! His bladder stones are resolving on his special diet and the zyrtec has helped with his cough(due to a trachea isse) tremendously! Now we come to find out that he has an ACL tear. This requires surgery or it will create more issues and constant pain in the future. We just dropped Benji off at the Animal Surgical Center and he will be having surgery later today! ? He takes his elephant everywhere he goes ?
Benji is 8 years old, affectionate, goofy,loves other dogs and is fine with cats! I am posting this as a plea for a foster home where he can recuperate and for donations to help with his medical expenses.
His current medical bills are over $4000.00, including his surgery today. We are grateful for the rescue discounts that we receive from our wonderful vets. Even with these discounts, our medical expenses are still exorbitant. Every dollar truly helps and no amount is too small!!

My friend(and fellow roadie) Jenn Nucci, and all of her staff, have been absolutely amazing. Best In Show Pet Resort is a great temporary solution but Benji needs a home in which he can rest and recover.

Benji is the cutest little Nugget!
If you are looking for a true lap dog, look no further! Benji is 8 years old, super sweet and goofy.
He just adores being around people and loves playtime with other dogs. ?
Benji has been through so much over the past months. He lost the only home he ever knew, and then the new family who he adored. He was being treated for what the vet thought was an upper respiratory infection. We had radiographs done which show that he has narrowing of the trachea. This is chronic but controllable. He started on daily zyrtec and his cough is starting to improve. This has not slowed him down as you can see from the videos! He loves to play ?Benji also had a recent ultrasound which showed small bladder stones. We have him on special food right now in hopes that it will resolve them. If not, he will have surgery which will be covered by RTHRS. Hasn't he has been through enough?? It's his turn to find his true Forever!
