Meet Benjamin. Benji for short.

Benji needs to find a forever home. A former resident of LBACS, Benji was adopted by a family in December 2022. Unfortunately, the family was recently forced to move and Benji is unable to stay with them in their new place. The family negotiated to be able to keep Benji in the home temporarily while they look for a new home for him. We know and love Benji, so we want to help network him.

Benji is a very handsome 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Benji is housetrained and well-mannered in the home. He's a lower-energy dog that enjoys his "nap time” and rarely barks. Benji has been living in a home with another young male pittie for the last three months. They were best buds. He's done well with several other dogs of all sizes with proper introductions. He's shown playful interest with cats when on walks, but doesn't give chase and is easily redirected when told to "leave it.” Benji is good in the car and at the vet. He does well on a leash but can pull when excited so a handler who can help him fine-tune his leash manners would be ideal. Benji loves people. He's been living in a home with four older boys (10 years+) and he's been gentle around younger children, so we think he'd do well with a family.
