Mr. Ben is still a puppy at 20 months old. He is still active. He is a St. Bernard (possibly mixed). He is still all puppy and has some work to do with his manners. His owners reported that he played too rough with the smaller/older dogs in the home. They also reported that he is a food hog - not aggressive - just eats everyone else's food. They say he is housebroken and not destructive. He is good with kids and cats. They did indicate he thinks his place to lay is on the couch - so if you aren't interested in a 100 plus lb. pup to share your space he wouldn't be for you.

He does know sit but that appears to be the only command he knows. He is a hand full on a leash. He is a house dog and wants to be right where the action is. He is doing amazing with all the staff around here. Please bear in mind for all intents and purposes he is still a baby, albeit a big one. He will mature up as he gets a little older and become what most people think of St. Bernard's as is just a big lazy dog.

He will be ready for adoption starting on 12/2/21 after visiting with Dr. Mike to get everything current on his shots and a full physical. We believe he is underweight but will discuss that with the vet on Tuesday.
