Meet Ben
•• Our shelter will be open this Sunday from Noon to 2pm. Come see us! **
Ben is a 1 year old Boxer mix that weighs 63lbs. He walks very polite on the leash and appears to have had previous potty training. Though he has a decent amount of energy he is shy around new doggy friends and prefers them to be calm with him. Ben loves to chase balls but doesn’t understand the concept of bringing them back yet. He can be a bit of a jumper but only because he wants to give you kisses on your face. Ben is very treat motivated and can catch them in the air! He knows sit and is ready to learn more. Ben is ready to go to his forever home and can’t wait to meet his new family.
Adoption hours at our shelter: Monday - Friday 9am-4pm, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, and some weekend hours. To make an appointment or for more information, please call us at 913-321-1445. If you have a dog, you can also arrange to bring your dog with you to meet our dogs to see if it's a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
