Meet Ben

-Ben is a 9 year old Pitty Mix. He is current on his vaccines, neutered, house trained, crate trained, microchipped, and adorable.

- Ben is reactive to other animals so he will not be a good fit if you have any other pets in the home.
-He is extremely friendly to any human he has ever met including kids and toddlers. Sadly, he is not good with other animals because of abuse before I got him. However, I have found it very easy to keep him away from other dogs on walks. Ben enjoys playing fetch and hardcore tug of war. As he is older though, it seems that his favorite activity is to curl up next to me while I am working. The best way to describe Ben is "attached at the hip"; he is just happiest when he is with humans and interacting.
-In order to calm some of his anxiety, Ben is on prozac which costs approx $8/month and can be picked up at any pharmacy. His prescription is half used and will be good for another 3 months before his vet can issue a new one.
-Ben is highly trained and knows a wide variety of commands. Although he is house trained, I would recommend crating him if you leave the house as he is most distraught when alone and tends to have a hard time not peeing on something. However, he is fine unattended as long as he knows you are in the house with him.
-I am rehoming Ben because I am getting married and my fiance and I aren't able to afford a house where our pets can be separated safely and her cat is much older than Ben and not likely to survive the trauma of being rehomed.
