Hi, I'm Beluga! Just like the baby beluga in the deep blue sea, I'm a friendly guy, though I can be a little shy at first. Once I warm up, I'm sweet and curious, but I still prefer slow introductions and a little patience when it comes to handling. I hope you like long leisurely walks because I really like to sniff everything I can. I also really like treats and already know a few tricks and have learned how to solve puzzle toys if it means I get to earn some more yummies. I would do best in a quiet home with no small kids or other dogs. I'm looking for a loving family that can give me time to settle in and build my confidence. With a little patience, I'll be your loyal companion in no time!

P.S. - I'm staying in a quieter part of the shelter to help me stay relaxed. Ask my friends in the adoption center about meeting me!

Medical: Beluga has a couple of medical conditions that are currently being managed with medications. Staff will be able to review all of those with you but it will be important for adopters to make sure Beluga meets his new vet soon after adoption to keep him on a healthy path.
