Bella is a bouncy, tiny 7 year old chihuahua mix that loves to cuddle next to her human or curl up on the couch for long stretches. She's pretty good with other dogs close to her size but gets intimidated by bigger dogs. She would be great as a single dog for someone who wants a snuggle buddy or in a household with another small dog. She is great about going outside to go potty but doesn't particularly like cold weather (who could blame her???) and comes back inside quickly when it's chilly outside. She also loves to lay on the porch in the sun on warm days. Someone with a bit of dog rescue experience, or at least dog experience, would be best suited for her as she will do best with a little patience. She's had a good bit of change (thankfully very positive change) recently so we're hoping for a stable forever home where she and her delightful little quirks will be treasured. She's getting much better about being picked up but sometimes reacts if she's sleeping or if you try to bring her outside and she doesn't fancy the weather. She loves to be petted gently and gets very excited and kisses your hand while being stroked- it's adorable!!! Bella came from a less than ideal place but has adjusted very well in foster care- she's come so far over the last six weeks but now we need a dog savvy, patient doggie hero to provide a stable, loving home and bring her the rest of the way.
