Bella's Story
Apply to Adopt Me!

Meet Bella, a mini–Australian Shepherd. Bella is 3 1/2yo and weighs 36lbs. She has spent the past 3 years in a loving home but due to a demanding work schedule, her current owner cannot give this young, active girl the time she needs. Bella is friendly and outgoing, loves to play fetch and run in the yard. She walks well on a leash and does great on car rides. She is house trained and crate trained. Bella does well with older, quieter children. True to her breed, Bella tries to herd younger, active children, which we feel would not be an ideal situation for smaller kids. She is also an alpha dog and wants to be the leader of her pack, so it is best if there is no other alpha dog in the home. Someone who understands the Australian Shepard breed is highly preferred. Though this tends to be a high energy breed, Bella has a more moderate energy level and does not require an excessive amount of exercise, but a good-sized fenced yard is necessary for her to be able to play ball and chase a Frisbee. An active household, with someone who is home more than not, would be a great match. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you could give Bella her forever home, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.
