Bella Italian Greyhound Mix Lincoln, NE

Bella is smart, sweet, affectionate, and has settled into our routine very
Quickly and fostering in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She has a very HAPPY tail that can make a lot of
motion. She is five & very CUTE! She is about 14-15#.

She probably hasn't been walked on leash a lot, but LOVES it!
We're working on leash manners and not barking at other dogs on walks but she is doing good! She has a martingale lead and also a Reversible Harness Vest by Linda (that will go home with her to new home) that she is unable to back out of and keeps her safe. She takes verbal correction easily when she needs redirection.

She eats Natural Balance Salmon/Sweet Pot dry food & eats a few treats every day. Her food will need to monitored and possibly adjusted depending on her activity level as she probably could become over weight very easily. She always has fresh water available.

She absolutely LOVES the big, fenced, back yard here! A fenced yard will be a MUST for her for her enjoyment and also she does not potty on a leash. She loves swinging with me and my youngest dog on the patio swing enjoying the fresh air. She adores running and chasing the animals in the backyard and running the yard with one of my small dogs. She did live as an only dog in her previous home and would like the company of another playful, active, small dog or would be fine as a solo dog with a guardian who will exercise her on walk and active playtime.

She sleeps all night in a large crate with soft blankies! She is quiet all night long! She probably WOULD like to sleep with her person!! (hint) Two times she barked during the night initially when coming to me, needing out to potty, but NOT since. She does enjoy going into her open crate during the day also. She is crated during car travel and is quiet.

Inside, WHEN I sit, she is in the recliner with me. Otherwise, a dog bed! Kisses on the top of her head & neck are most welcome!

Bella had some food aggression around other dogs so she is fed in her crate. No food or treats are ever left sitting around. Because of this, we feel a home without small children will be best as well as a home with no larger dogs for her safety.

She will need someone patient and attentive to continue to work with her on her potty habits.

She will make someone special a HAPPY, FUN, dog owner!

Bella is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, HW tested negative, on HW preventative, and fecal testing done and will have a dental cleaning in early October. She will be available to go home after this dental appt. Her adoption fee is $350 and includes her Linda's reversible harness vest and martingale lead and jackets/sweater for chilly weather.
