Our Bella is a captivating two-year-old Husky mix with a gentle personality and a heart full of puppy love! Weighing in at a lively 50 lbs, Bella is the life of the party at our rescue, famed for her exuberant zoomies and her knack for smothering every pup she meets with enthusiastic kisses. And while we love watching her zoom around the yard, she is undeniably just as happy cozied up on the couch relaxing the day away! This girl is all about balance!

Bella’s a social butterfly with her canine pals, flourishing in the company of our resident dogs—from Luna, the sprightly two-year-old Shepherd mix, to the wise old Golden Retriever who’s been showing her the ropes. Despite her initial shyness, Bella transforms into a loyal sidekick once she’s comfortable, sticking by your side like the best kind of shadow.

Let's talk energy level! Inside, Bella keeps it cool with a chill level of 3-4, perfect for those lazy Sunday cuddles. Out in the yard, though, she dials it up to a robust 6-7, chasing joy with the vigor of a pup unleashed! This girl’s not just about fun and games—she's a true foodie at heart, always ready to impress with a well-timed sit for a tasty treat. Bella has the playfulness of a puppy, but the manners of a true lady- She walks well on the leash and although the concept of being tethered to a rope sometimes has her wondering if it’s a new type of game or a bizarre fashion statement, she's starting to get the hang of it! Bella is very well behaved left inside, no crate needed—why box up such a free spirit?

While Bella adores children, like most dogs, she prefers the predictability of older kids, finding the zippy antics of the younger ones a bit overwhelming. A home where she can be around people most of the time would be her paradise, especially one with a yard for her occasional sprints.

What Bella craves most is a loving home that understands the art of the warm-up, a family ready to give her the space to blossom at her own pace, and maybe even a canine companion to share in her daily joys. Bella is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!

Bella is currently receiving treatment for heartworms. She is asymptomatic and not contagious, and her adoptive family can continue this treatment, which will be fully covered by our rescue.
