We are so disappointed - Bella's adoption did not work. The limited time with another dog turned out to be more of a problem for her than we were hoping or discussing.
Bella MUST be an only dog - with someone who understands that dogs don't react well to scolding them and using hand gestures to do so. She needs an owner who understands her life has been hell and shows patience and consistency but is honest about all aspects of home life for her. At this time we would like to find an adult only home for her.
She has NEVER had a problem with humans until now. She is 8 1/2 years old but she has to be AN ONLY DOG with a dog savvy owner. She is an Australian Shepherd. A fenced in yard would be amazing for her - as she will wander off if left unattended.
She is housebroken, walks wonderful on a leash and harness. She is a fairly quiet dog. She just doesn't want to share - not toys - not attention - not time. She wants it all herself. She isn't demanding for attention but will gladly take it when available.
She is on Prion as she has an issue at night with some urine leakage. She comes with a fairly full current prescription.
Current on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, current on preventatives and micro-chipped.
PLEASE consider meeting her if you meet the necessary requirements. With her age an older person/couple would be great if you like to walk.
