Arrival story: Bella was living the life of an outside dog when a special someone stepped in to foster her and prepare her for life as a loving companion and family dog.

Approximate age / Weight: 5-6yrs and 76 lbs.

Personality: Bella has mastered the inside life like a champ! She’s got good house manners, doesn’t need to be crated, and sleeps on a cushy dog bed. Bella is very affectionate and enjoys a good snuggle, hot or cold weather, and giving kisses.

Her favorite things in life are a nice selection of dog toys, taking advantage of a good romp in the yard and stretching out to catch some rays. Bella knows many tricks, is super smart, easily trainable, and is ready to learn new things.

Our girl loves attention and being in the presence of her people. Bella has enjoyed meeting children, but has not lived in a home with kids. She seems to find security in a dog pal. However, it will likely take some time for her to warm up to a new canine companion and best success will be with a male dog, her size. She’s not fond of small dogs.

Forever home: Bella is looking forward to devoting herself to a new person / family. She’d enjoy a canine pal (male, her size) but no other small animals. Hasn’t been around kids much but has done well with kids she has met.
