Bella is a gorgeous 4 yr old Queensland Heeler. (Her Birthday was the 20th) She is spayed, micro chipped, HW negative and up to date on all vaccines. She was owner surrendered because of a job change and was spending to much time in her crate.

Bella is quick to attach to someone, and can be very affectionate. She seems to love everyone. Her recall is great in a controlled environment. I wouldn't trust her off leash.

She is extremely intelligent, and was the queen of her castle. Bella will need a breed experienced human to help her learn boundaries. She loves her tennis balls, frisbee and the beach, watch the squeaky, she likes to eat them after rescuing them from her stuffed animals. Her favorite thing to do is play keep away from her human.

Bella has all the heeler traits, you will be poked with her ball all day long. She can get mouthy if she doesn't get her way. She knows how to manipulate you. She will counter surf if unattended.

She is great with timid dogs but doesn't like bossy aggressive ones.

Bella did very well on leash, there was some pulling but was easily redirected, is the perfect shotgun rider, but dosen't like the back seat much and will protest a bit before settling in. She didn't like bath time much but did come back to play with the shower head, she enjoyed trying to catch the water. Bella has the thick heeler coat so be prepared for shedding.

Bella has a love hate relationship with her crate. I leave the door open so she can come and go, but when its time to shut the door she will protest for a moment and settle in for the quietly for the night. We have been working on that and she is improving wonderfully. She would much rather be curled up on the bed.

I believe Bella would be a great candidate for obstacle training or dock diving. She learns quickly.

Bella needs to shed a few pounds to get her summer bod back but I believe this will be easily accomplished with an active person.

I wouldn't recommend Bella for a first time dog owner, she needs a strong leader, someone committed to training, breed experienced would be best. She loves the fenced yard where she can roam freely with her toys. A quiet home setting would be ideal.

Bella has potential to be extraordinary with the right handler.
