You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents.
Must live within 1 hr of Rochester NY to adopt and own your own home. Preference given to having a fenced in yard.

Bella is a 3 yr old (born Jan 31/17) 60 lb GSD. She found herself in need of a new home after her owner passed away. She is an amazing girl, listens well and so wants to belong to a person again. Sadly she is still a little stressed over all the changes but we are doing our best to help her. She is fine with our cat but should not be in a home with small dogs, she does want to be queen and top dog, not to mention center of your world/attention. For this reason we feel she might be best as an only dog. We have not seen any food aggression and she sits and takes treats very nicely. She travels well and is good on leash unless she catches scent of something interesting, getting her to move again can take a minute or two. She is current on her vet care and was recently check over at Pittsford Animal Hospital getting a clean bill of health.
This girl will make an amazing companion and loyal friend to some lucky adopter. We are looking for adopter with knowledge of shepherds as she is a guard dog and not best choice for homes that have strangers coming and going a lot. All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
