Hi there. I am a beautiful and intelligent dog. I will thrive in a home with an experienced human who knows my breed. Feel free to call or email the rescue for more information to see if I would be a good fit for your entire lifestyle. I require a meeting with a trainer, and the rescue staff prior to my adoption and moving forward as well. This is to ensure I am placed in the best home possible. I also will not be able to go to a home with any animals or children.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions
here
), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at
